Just break down and buy a membership. YOu'll find that in time you'll save that and more on all the other daily essentials you buy there, Meats, dairy, frozen foods clothing even that LCD tv you wantwill cost less than at giant, best buy and boscov's, and while your there you might as well fill up the gas tank and 6 cents or so less per gallon than at your neighborhood gas station.

Couldn't of said it better myself. You will find yourself there many times so the cost will be made up quick.

My experience is that warehouse clubs CAN be worthwhile, but you've got to do your research. Until recently I could get photo inks for about half of the street price from Sams Club, but now they're at about 85% of the street price; still worth it, but I need to keep an eye on the price. Years ago I went to Costco (then PRice Club) to buy a TV and got the same TV for less at Circuit City.

So true. You do have to do your homework and check prices, but there are still some good deals that come along, expecially when they get some close-outs. This spring, Sams had some 3500 PSI pressure washers with Honda engines for $250. That was a great price, but they only had one pallet of them, and I missed getting one.

Yeah, I have both of those problems too. 5 gallons of ketchup is a bit much.
