Newbie not seeing some photos
« on: November 18, 2008 - 09:31:38 PM »
Hi to all
When reading the posts, some photos show up, while others don't.  The post about sub-frame connectors I don't get any of the photos.  My anti virus is set medium setting, so ...
Thanks.
Phil

It will depend on how old the thread is.  Every once in a while we have to dump old pictures to save on server space and all the old pictures get wiped out . . . then only a red X is left.  So its probably not your computer.

Some of the photos are uploaded directly to the server and are hosted for awhile - a year or so, before getting cleaned out - that's why they disappear in the older threads.  Others are linked to another place on the Internet.  If the link is OK, the photo continues to be visible.  If that link is broken, the photo goes away.  Some of those photos are only up for a short time.  For example, I'll post an occasional thread showing some cool Mopars in my area  that are on Craigslist (SoCal Mopars), usually with a photo link.  But when the ad gets wiped from CL, the photo link goes with it.

There is a current link to subframe connectors and torque boxes which should be visible.

 Try that,

I have caught myself browsing the site as a guest and not being logged in.  Guests can't see most pics. Make sure you are logged under your screen name every time....    :2thumbs:
