Stopped at Grainger today.  3/8 Stainless comp fitting...... 24.95  :faint: And of course they gotta order it..  :banghead: ya need it, ya need it right??  :eek7:

I didnt mention the prices. That was intended   When I give away items out of my stainless collection, I don't mention costs. I gave away (2) 1/2 inch full flow stainless valves to a friend of mine. They were for his fuel cell cut off valves on his race car. They were 500 bucks a piece. He was amazed when he priced them. I told him that the plant guys give me the stuff as needed.  The stuff is very expensive.  But you got it now :2thumbs:

If you need any half inch or 1/4 inch stuff, just drop me a note. I will send them to you free

Well after two trys I think I have the problem solved. Worked on it on Thursday, thought we were all good. Go out to do some other things yesterday. Had a very slow drip but a drip none the less. Got to the point I could't crack it anymore. Still dripped, had to walk away and regroup. Took it apart today, found a small high spot in the end op the tube . We reground the end so it was square. Problem solved!!! And I gotta say that stainless steel comp fitting is pretty tough! I really cranked on it but still was able to reuse it!!   :grinyes:

Sidebar///

The lines I have from inline tube, although very well done, never quite fit right in the area where I had the leak problem (basically right onver the front end of the right leaf spring) Which BTW really made woking on this a PITA!! Now that the tube is approximatley 1/4 to 3/8" shorter the lines fit better than they ever did ... go figure??   :screwy:
