Not sure you would have to call and ask him. I believe it was a original 318 3speed deputy car. 1 of so many made. You will need to call him for VIN info etc. There is no rust on it at all as far as I know. We put in the new interior 2years ago when he first got it. We also put in all new window molding. He had the 383 Magnum motor rebuilt last year. He does have a 4speed tranny laying in the garage for it. It will fit right in as it was a original 3speed. This is about the extent of info I know.
Best guess is to just give him a call if interested. He will know more info as well as be able to get VIN and all that.
I was told it was a deputy and the rear kick panels did have the chrome plugs and fixed quarter windows in the car. Yes it was originally a 318/3spd car. When I think the second owner bought it had a 73 440 with a 4spd in it but, that got tired and they supposedly transplated a 69 383HP out of a RR with the RRs 727 transmission. I never checked the stampings from what I recall but, the PO did put it in writing before my purchase of the car.
It ran decent for the time I had it and it had tons of new parts put on it already. The floors in this car were very solid. Just a little surface rust but, I rust proofed them with Rust Bullet. It was originally EV2. No money involved for me here. Just trying to help out the seller. I will say this car is really solid. I just came on here to see the old Challenger. I really don't have much interest in buying another E-Body at this point in time as I now have a 68 Coronet 440 2dr.
BTW, when I sold this car I also had some new wiring and some other new/better items to go with the car. I also bought a MP distributor as the 383 was running a points and non-electronic setup.
