Space Saver Spare Questions - 1971
« on: October 14, 2008 - 09:04:40 PM »
Fellas -

Bought a 71 Javelin 401 car with a space saver spare in perfect condition.  Wondering if it's the same one used on B and E bodies in 71 (5 on 4.5 bolt pattern).

Markings near the valve stem:    K24 (I think)     11 (valve stem) 26   50

Front of the rim is orange.  Back is black.  BFG tire that's is perfect.  Has the red inflator, still full, but didn't check the part #.  Valve stem is the style with a pressure relief, I think.  Will probably sell it, as the AMC is destined to be a Trans Am race clone, and while it's a real low profile tire, I don't think it will do me any good on the track...

Thanks,

Scott
