Thank you again for the kind words! It's funny everyone likes the Super Bee, I almost didn't mention the two b-bodies. The Super Bee is a 383 4-speed burnt orange with a burnt orange bench seat interior, all numbers matching and all original body panels, it has been restored and is mostly stock (wheels, hemi grind cam, aluminum intake, looks all stock under hood). I have had it 10 years, man the time goes by fast. It is fully documented with the original broadcast sheet and fender tag.

I have attached another pic of the Bee and a pic of the Challenger that shows the metal flake a little better.

Take care everyone, thanks again!

This thought may not be politically correct, but is an opinion offered. It may be correct? or it may be wrong? It is not designed to appease those needing shelter from the real world.

I think theres another guy on this site that has a '70 Challenger that has the street/strip paint also from the 70's.  Should get pics of your cars together!!!   Would love to see your car in slotted rims and fat bias ply L-60/14 tires out back!

WELCOME, we are MOPAR mad people here on this board (some have other brands as well). Great looking cars.
Did you have to take out a loan to get off Prince Edward Island, when we were there 3 years ago we weren't told about the toll even though we email them before going, getting on is easy but they slug you to get off.
A very beautiful place though.

WOw! Awesome history on that car!  I love the pic of the car in the garage!  The 6 tailpipes are crazy!  I love them!

So this car spent time early in it's life in Brockton, MA?

I wonder if it saw some street racing action in front of the Westgate Mall in Brockton in the 70's and 80's?  I used to go there in the early 80's on the weekends at night to watch some street racing in front of the mall.  They used to have it set up so they would use the lights in front of the mall to race with.  Before the light would turn green, a car would go throught the red light and check to see if the road was clear to race, the light turns green, then the 2 cars racing would take off.  There were 3 cars behind the 2 cars racing to block all traffic behind them, especially if there were police cars trying to get to the 2 cars racing.  I think from there if there were police, the strip in front of the mall would quickly access the highway for a quick get away.

Was this car a show winner in the World of Wheels or something like that?   :clueless: I ask this because of the sticker in the lower right side of the window.

Hi all,

Thank you all again for the kind words.

Thank you for the welcome Barry, and thank you again for the webpage!

Aussie Challenger: They let you onto the bridge to Prince Edward Island for free; then they charge you when you want to leave. I go at least once a year so I have learned to live with the bridge charge. Prince Edward Island is beautiful, I highly recomend It!

PlumCrazy704406: I love the look of your Challenger; I am into the vintage racing look, reminds me of when I was a kid going to the drags in the late seventies & early eighties. I used to like walking the pits as much as watching the racing, still do now that I think about it.

Super Blue 72: Purple Haze was a World of Wheels participant in the seventies; the previous owner showed me pictures of it in the show. I was wondering what that sticker was for; I thought it was a racing related thing. I learned something today! The car was sold from Brockton Dodge, I don't know if it was raced in that area; I know it saw street use in Weymouth Ma. I have heard that Brockton Dodge was a big performance dealer back in the day, I also heard they had a 69 Daytona in the showroom until the late eighties, I would love to see pictures of the lot!

Thank you all again!
