So a few responses to questions I've gotten in your replies.

1. Battery has been ordered.  If I had known that battery came from wal-mart I would have tossed it a long time ago.
2. It's 99% because I'm replacing the A/C dash with a non-a/c dash.  It's not a very good 440 6pk clone w/ an A/C dash.  I have most of the parts in hand, just a little more to gather for that conversion.  Got the dash from one of Nick's group buys.
3. Yes, it is an MSD ignition...  but...

As far as non-factory... it has a Keisler 5 speed conversion in it, 4 wheel disc brakes, pretty stout build motor, Dr. Diff dana 60 setup, hefty aluminum radiator setup, wider rear rims, and a few other minor things I'm sure.

However, my goal when I started this project car was to create a solid all original looking car as far as the average on-looker could tell.
To make it very street worthy and drivable.  I'll be driving it 4 hours to various cruise in's at the beach and mountains each year along with lots of local one hour away shows.  So being able to get on the interstate and cruise at 70-80 was a goal.  This car will never see a trailer, and I'm proud of that.  If I can't drive the car to a show, it ain't worth having to me.  The trailer queen circuit drives me crazy but that's just a personal bias.
I wanted to not have to worry about overheating in a long line of traffic, to be safe and able to drive in rain or stop quickly as needed.
I wanted to have something very dependable and solid, not something I have to worry about starting every time I turn around.
Something to turn heads.....

Those were my goals and I think I have achieved them which makes me happy.

4. I'm from Mocksville NC, about 1 hr from Charlotte... I77 to Statesville, I40 to Mocksville...

Thanks for all the comments gang.  This forum is awesome.
