unknown part from a 74 cuda WIW??? what is the part?

hey guys when i disassembled my 74 cuda i found this under the dash near the heater controls. what is this? numbers on the side

That is the seatbelt interlock box- only for 1974 year cars.

if you sat in any seat and didn't beltup- the car would not start!!!!!!

That would drive me crazy!!!
  Probably worth a good penny to someone going concourse on a 74 with that option.

I remember '74 cars (ya I no) what a pain in the A$$! I disabled alot of those gagets back then..

Exactly why I would think they would be worth a few pennies for a concourse 74.  I would definitely take that out of the car if it was mine.  Pain in the ars!!
