Gauge restoreres and calibration
« on: October 06, 2008 - 05:57:45 PM »
Iam about to send my gauges out for calibration and get an ammeter to voltmeter mod.   I see there are many companies out there to do the work.  So my question is ,there any highly recommend places by any members here.
Regards,

I've heard these guys do the amp-meter to volt-meter conversion. I have no experience with their work though.

I would recommend Autoinstruments. Have guages and all plastic rechroming done there. Plus Gentry is a Mopar guy! :2thumbs:

Would you change them to white face or keep them black and original?

i would keep them black, the white face is a bit to modern looking for my liking.  When i talked to redline they said send the oil pressure and temp transmitter with the guages and they would calibrate them together for me and make up a chart for reference or they could put marking on the face if i wanted.
