I have had very good luck with XV on level 1 suspension, EFI fuel tank, power window kit and throttle body intake for a 6.1L.

I've bought a number of chassis stiffening items from them with no problems.

I deal with Scott and the people you deal with are in New York while the parts factory is in Canada. They have some of the best products, I have an XV 1 and XV2 kit  plus steering column etc. I had to wait around 8+ months for the XV2 kit and around 6 months for the engine brace. I was frustrated but waited and it's well worth it. Best bet to do if ordering is to call and make sure they have firm dates, no ummm and ahhhhring. I think they have two main problems, 1) they list their products before they are actually in production, which would no doubt be to get them in the public so they are "first" to offer them, although they aren't even ready. Their EFI fuel tanks are the same.

They have been in MoPar Muscle Mags for probably a year, yet they aren't even available. 2) Apart from Scott they don't talk much. I (some will know) have asked John (HQHemi)? who posts here around 4 or 5 questions about lateness and parts not being ready, not once have I received a reply or explanation and I have seen him viewing the thread, not even via email. With the amount I've spent (like others) you'd think a few minutes to post isn't too much to ask. Their customer service needs a good tweak or else they'll find themselves selling awesome parts to no one. Building great products is only half of the journey.

I asked about a shipping quote to Norway for their Chassis Stiffening Kit, got a quick reply with data for all four parts. I know the engine compartment brace has been hard to get earlier, but it appears like it's in shelves now.

But, before I order, are there anyone here who earlier have ordered the same parts as me, and are still waiting for them?

That's funny, when I talked to them yesterday he told me 4 to 5 weeks! :clueless:  Can't these people give anyone a straight answer? :banghead:

call and get your money back before its too late.........  :2cents:

Also file a complaint with eBay.  It's a violation of eBay's selling policies to offer something you don't have.  Whether or not eBay does anything is another story...

Well, I think I've got the problem solved. Indy Cylinderheads had an MP intake and gave me a great deal on it. Should be here in another day or two. I called XV and cancelled my order and got a refund. Big thanks to Jeff and Ted at Mopar Supercenter and Dave at Roseville Moparts! :2thumbs: These guys really tried their best to help me out and I certainly hope to buy from them as time goes on. They will be the first ones I go to for parts from now on. As for XV, :nono:

Hopefully THIS week! The swap is so far along all I have to do is bolt on the intake and carb, hook up the throttle and kickdown cables and fuel line and fire it up and dial it in. :burnout:  :bananasmi

Glad to hear Indy hooked you up and XV did the right thing by issuing a prompt refund.
