Hi Guys, it is not the actual job that has effected Alan this way.  It was one of the plants he was working at that had poisoned his system, and creaped up on him, contaminating his Kidneys over time,  Alans kidneys are doing what they should be, and flushing the toxins out of his body.  This is a slow process, hence why the sickness has been so long happening and fixing itself finally.  Each day he gets better.

So do not think it was the job, but their are still emmensly dangerous stuff he does while he is at work.  Must be on ones toes all the time with his line of work.

Since we talked this mornning Kenny, I have cleaned and re arranged my whole shop untill just now. Man what a task. It took all day. But now I can work on my car after I ship parts and see the doc

Great to hear you have cleaned the shop up Alan :2thumbs: it will be good to get the things done on your M46 now :clapping: Mr. Alan Powers international man of mystery :roflsmiley:

This is good news,   :jumping:  don't go back though if you don't feel 100%, a few extra days either way won't hurt. You rely on your good health to work so make sure you are truly OK before returning, the company are only thinking of themselves and the money they are not getting.

Neil, My plans are to work up to the Christmas holidays. I could use the money . I actually thought about what you had said in another post before making the decision to go back yesterday. I even went by the employment office to register today. I have no plans on working here for 6 mos more.  I thought I would buy my buisness license and start trying to stack up parts n supplies through consignment with Holley, edelbrock, moser, direct connect, accel, msd, morroso, and the likes. And ease into it as part time.

I made this decision about returning to work for a few more weeks with the words you also spoke here.

You had said you had work there untill april. I wanna try to start my shop and sales store in January. And not go back to work. I would love to have you here and to stay as long as you'd like. I gave you a vehicle to drive while yer here to. So traveling wont hamper you...

I actually said I only had a few days work to carry me through to April as in maybe a couple of weeks to finish everything I can find to do & nothing elsde until April even if there is any work then , the oilpatch job I have been chasing ever since Phillips turned me down is a no go now as well as there is a hiring freeze everywhere with the low price of oil , I have to finish Old Badgers Cuda & maybe pull 1 engine & fix  furnace in a motorhome at this point
