Product Review/ Parts I need (mostly repro i think)
« on: November 11, 2008 - 09:05:06 AM »
So, I didnt know how to title this or where to put it.

I got to thinking with the Secret Santa thread that I should post things Im looking to buy within the next 6 months or so..... I thought I would list the things I need, and see if anyone could post the experiences they've had with different manufacturers of that part.....  :dunno: all for my '71 Challenger

Importance is in no particular order, so here we go:  :chatting:

1. Repro Passenger Fender/ maybe looking for a good original now
2. Repro Rear Bumper, looking at the "MuscleCarBumpers".......
3. Dash Pad, gonna go with AZNick... Thank you Al!!  :2thumbs:
4. Aluminum SB Heads? got this link from my other thread  http://chucker54.stores.yahoo.net/moenlapocohe.html
5. Aftermatket AC, I know there is Vintage Air and another.... I have an AC car so that will help me....
6. Carpet... ECS?
7. a new Trunk Lid seal....
8. a Pair of Chrome Mirrors
9. Im also looking to possibly get the Rear Defrost Speaker Adapter that they're reproin now.

Randomly, I also need the little bushing for my Floor Shifter Bracket that bolts to trans, and I am on the hunt for an unbroken SE dome light....

I just figured having all of my needs in one thread may help me when it comes to research.

If I get any feedback, maybe "Quote" the item you are referancing.... I hope this thread makes sense....  :misbehaving:

I also need to get my Tach Calobrated, and maybe my AMP meter converted to Volts.... No money right now for the group buy.

Nick can help you with the carpet and (I think) the trunk lid seal.  He may also be able to help you with the sheetmetal.

The dash pad I bought through Nick (supplier name escapes me for the moment) needed some trimming, but I believe that they've improved their quality somewhat.
