I can across a guy that has a running 76 New Yorker (?) with a 440/727. He indicated it's all original and neither have been touched (@100K miles). The car has been in an accident, but the engine/tranny are fine. He is thinking of selling the motor/tranny, but I'd have to pull them out of the car. He has no idea what the combo is worth. What would be a reasonable offer given I'd have to pull them out of the car? Thanks
