Wow that's cool a 240 kilometer speedo ,,,,,,,,,,, is there anything else diffrent on the export Challenger?

Hello. Not much else different on these export Challengers than those kilometer speedos.

An odd thing is that they were equipped with 383 4bbl N-code engines, 727 transmission and 8 3/4 Sure Grip axles, but they were NOT RT models. And they did have a lot of other RT stuff, also: double exhausts, Rallye instrument cluster etc. But a flat hood, no RT exhaust tips. Heh, odd indeed.

My RT hood is added later, not by the factory or by a dealer.

That N-code engine (4bbl 383) was rated 330hp, 5hp less than in RT. I do not know whether it was painted blue or orange, originally. Every other guy says blue as it was no RT, and every other says that N-code hipo-engines were orange..  Does anybody here know?

>> How much does it cost to send a car over to Europe?

I have never done that, as my Challenger was originally imported here as a new car in the December 1969. But what I have heard from the guys it takes something like $2000-3000 to ship from US East Coast to North Europe. It takes about 4-6 six weeks. Then there are some tax&customs charges on top of that, usually couple of hundred bucks.
