Y'all come on down... lots of jobs, if you can stand the humidity in the summer we have mild winters.   Were getting hundreds of BRAC folks due in the next couple of years so the housing market will be getting tight soon though.

Any good deals on 3 br, 2 bath, 2200 sq/ft brick ranch, on a full basement with 2 car attached garage.  Only need a couple of acres.  Also a 40' X 40' garage with lift is mandatory....  Help a fellow Mopar dude out....

OS...2 affordable acres is probably going to put you out of the city but about 2/3 of our county's residents are not in the city.... 40x40 garage w/lift....you may be dreaming, but that can be dealt with if everything else were to fall in place.... I'd guess some nice existing properties could be found for under 300K  In my 35 year old neighborhood, in the better part of town, you can get a 2200 ft house for less than that but the lots are more like 1/4 acre.

Did you know that you & Moparal live right off the same highway?....278... Almost neighbors.

Congrats ,,,,,,,   29 years ago I did Army basic training at Ft Mcclland Ala. ,,,,,,, the coolest thing I noticed right away about the South was that  Ya all addressed everyone as Sir or Mama,  as a N.Y. that was differant but way Cool hope that is still the case today........

I see my town was ranked number one on that list. :2thumbs: Though I don't have any kids, so maybe I shouldn't get too excited? :dunno: I must say though, I've had this house 19 years and in that time I've never even read of a burglary or car vandalized anywhere near my street.  I park my Ram in the driveway and never lock its door.  This is a pretty decent town, but nevertheless I was surprised of all the towns in the US, they ranked it number one. :smokin:
The house next door to me is empty and for sale, 2 blocks from the train station, 20 minutes from O hare airport, and a pretty good cruise Saturday nights downtown in the train station parking lot for fun during the good weather months! Another very large one on Fridays 4 or 5 miles away.
We need more Mopars around here, so someone please buy that house next to mine!

Congrats! Moorestown NJ was voted the best town in America in 2005 by Money magazine. That's 2 miles from where I live.  ;D
