    Firewall section wanted – Anybody?

    I'm redoing my engine bay and putting steel fenders on in place of the fiberglass. The job is snowballing as usual, but might as well do this right. Anyways, My firewall is dented in and is a bit rusty. I've attached the area that I need – if anyone has a donor car, I'd be willing to buy this area from you. Any help would be appreciated.

    The smaller area circled is the actual area I need, but a little larger would be way better to but weld in.

     :canada:i have a fire wall for parts but it look like the part youu need is cut look like you need the piece on top here a pic .If you cant use it if any one need a piece let me know .

     :canada: yep i have pic of the other side but most of it i used .Have a look. If you can use any of it let me no .i can cut it up and send it to you .or any one that need it .

    hi coupman, my 73 cuda has rust holes right under the door hinge both sides, im no body man but im eventually going to patch that area if yours is solid id be interested,use your judgment on your part and how big i might need the part to patch properly. maybe someone with talent in body work would say to just cut a piece of metal and call it good,and that shipping these pieces isnt worth the hassle?

     :canada you can fix them they are not hard to make because they are flat parts all you need tto do is a small bend ,It be way cheaper for you to fis them if you like to get the one i have it will be more money it up to you .let me no

    thats kinda what i thought, just make my own patches, but thats why im here to glean info from someone whos already done it or just flat out knows more than me,and that doesnt take much ive never done body work or paint.thanks

     :canada:the only thing i can tell you is go for it dont be afraid to try it, you see ones you try it you will like it like they say at first if you dont get it try it againg .The best way is cut out all the rust then you no how big of part you will need to make ,i alway make one out of paper first then out of steel .Good luck and have fun doing it . :2thumbs:
