trans leaks.. always

ok.. can't drive the mopar to the shows w/ the trans leaking. Are you guys oputting silicone on w/ the gasket..

feeling a little inadequate.

Trans gasket tips?? is this a problem fopr anyone else?

my 727 has a nice steady leak too, not too bad, a few drops here and there.  upgraded to an 8 quart B&M pan, for some resaon it makes me feel better.

I use the Felpro rubber gaskets over the cork style
silicone is ok as long as you use a thin coat

No, but I'll check. I did not mention that one of the bolt holes is stripped. I can't believe that one would do that. Also it leaks when running.. idle, park, drive whatever... is that because the viscosity thins sooo much??

It is def leaking from the pan.. i think. and not from where the bolt is stripped.

I wish someone made a steel reeinforced gasket like they do for the valve covers i have.. they are great!!
