AAR Hood & Flat Hood WIW
« on: December 04, 2008 - 06:12:45 PM »
Well this these hoods have sitting around for the last 20 years.  The AAR hood needs some work underneath, but the top side is good except for one corner.  It is definitely not perfect, but with a little work it should look factory.  The top has over spray and dust on it. It looks better in person.  The Barracuda hood has one slightly bend corner and some surface rust underneath.  Any guesses?

Here is that flat hood.  I know they are not worth much now that the shaker hoods are out.

Large pieces  Hard to sell  other than locally.   I'd say  350 for the AAR, 200 for the flat hood. JMO  :2cents:

Maybe $200 for the flat one and $800+ for the AAR unless warped bad.  I think the orginal AAR hoods are hard to find but I haven't followed hood prices much.

little less on both by my guess.
The AAR I would put on Ebay and expect to get over $500. The shipping damaged ones year one kept putting up were going for over $500 and they were cracked reproduction hoods. The stock hood would be a craigs list item that you might get $100 for locally.

I know the Challenger hoods are a little cheaper, but I bought four (flat) of them for $50 each a few months ago.  Hope that helps.

Thanks guys. Ya, I know I sort of missed the mark by not selling those flat hoods BEFORE  :-[ the repop shaker hoods came out.
