Help settle a debate
« on: November 21, 2008 - 08:14:15 AM »
Not a Mopar but...

Remember the movie "Better Off Dead" - I'm arguing with a guy from work about the color of the car. He says black, I say dark purple

what do you remember? Do you remember it being black or dark purple? Car website says it was painted black - I'm thinking it may have had some red flake in...

What are your recollections? What is your favorite "Movie" car

Now I got to dig through my DVD collection and find out if I'm just remembering wrong

oh, geez. i was debating that with my dad the other day when we watched that movie. I think it's black. My favorite movie car is the 1970 Challenger from Vanishing Point. With the BAN-ONE Trans Am from Smokey and The Bandit close behind
I have nothing. go ahead and laugh. but when I get my something, prepare to be awed

I watched the video tape last week.  BLACK!!!!!!!  That is a nice Camaro.  :grinyes:

My favorite  (There are so many  :grinyes: I was going to make a thread on this but glad you did. )

Is the Interceptor from Mad Max.  Although I REALLY like the sound of his patrol car when he starts it up and sits there revving the engine waiting for the Night Rider...

Video of first chase scene with the patrol car... cut to 7:15 for patrol car start up.  Turn up the volume!!!!  :grinyes:

1972 Dodge Challenger Rallye 340, AT, Code TB3=Super Blue, SBD=8/17/1971.  Yes, a Rallye without the fender louvers from the factory because of the body side molding option.

Pic #2 and 3 of my ARII 1/24 scale model car

I'm so  :puke: of camaros now. They're nice cars, but when it comes to muscle cars, they're a dime a dozen, so is the Chevelle.
