73 challenger rocker trim???
« on: December 05, 2008 - 10:47:55 PM »
If you look at the picture you will see I marked were the studs are for trim.  Was this a option on all challenger's or rallye's?

My Rallye is a 73 also. Mine never had the rocker trim as far as I can tell.

70-71's had a wide trim. The 72-74 trim was a thin piece. Yes it was an option, and I've seen it available aftermarket. To be honest, I really don't remember seeing many cars with this option.

i think 72 had the wide too.... not sure. I do know that nobody makes the correct clips. I had a few unbroken ones, but watch how it feels to drill a hole in your freshly painted car for the new style clips....  :crying: thats what makes me think it went to 72 unless they are 70 clips.....  :dunno:

Can you post a better pic of the clips that are installed? I think your car had the thin trim piece, unlike my friend Wally.   :poopoke:
