« on: December 05, 2008 - 07:25:21 AM »
wiper assembly needed .
wiper arms , are they available after market?
motor and switch available on ebay.
Are there not control arm's (bars) that run from one wiper to the other ?
restoring gutted drag car ,(just enough to get inspection)
want to drive it a little. as well as the track.

Sadly uninformed

the control arms are different year to year , the arm on the wiper motor has  different size drive slot & the linkage is physically different as well
there is supposed to be some vintage series wiper blades with low profile steel backs from one company , these are nessisary as all the newer styles are too tall to fit under the hood

It will be easier to find a two-speed switch instead of a 3-speed or variable speed switch, and 2-speed motors can be had for less $ than the other.  As CP said, the linkage is different between 2-sp and 3-sp.  I have a set of 2-sp linkage and a set of 3-sp linkage.  When you decide what you need, you can PM me about the linkage if you wish.

Thanks, I have not bought the motor yet and
I'll try to get the two speed.
The car was gutted for drag, anything else you think I will need?
Thanks in advance
