Can we get a close up of the hood trim on a 1971 Challenger

Our car didn't come with this piece.   According to YearOne  The 1971 has a lip on it that the 70 doesn't have. I wondered if it was a big deal as the '70 is $50 bucks cheaper.

The '70 style attaches through the front lip.   

'71 attaches to a lip under the front lip.

If that's true we may have a 70 hood.  It has 8 holes in the leading lip.  I know it's not the orig hood.

You can use the 1970 style then.

when i restored mine i thought of buying one because when my dad drove the chally he took it off that threw it away lol i just decided to paint it where the trim goes aswell as the light bezels and also where the trunk trim was ... ill upload pics in the daylight ...

found some !! lol

Here are a couple of pictures of the front and underside of the hood trim. This is an old one off of my car but like most of these trims it is barely staying together at the bend. I found another one a few years and had to pretty much break the bank to get it.
It was NOS and the biggest surprise was that it has a Made in Canada sticker on the inside.
