stupid ebay
« on: June 16, 2008 - 12:44:52 PM »
Bought a set of park light for my Challenger May 26th. Sent a postal money order may 27th. Get an email today with this ebay #200232202447. He calls me a deadbeat bidder. I have no control on the post office. I live in Canada and it is slow to the US. I offered to fax him a copy of the money order to him. What a @#$%$, maybe he should of emailed me first. I hate ebay

Always the optimist here! Seller may have used your payment delay as an out! Although I don't know the full scope of the sale, a LEGITIMATE seller would have contacted you to see whats up with the payment! That's the bottom line! I would say you probably didn't want those parts in the long run! Hope you get your M/O back, and find a better set elsewhere.
Got a link to the sale?

I've dealt with this seller a year ago and had issues with him. I told him to double make sure the item is well packed so it doesn't break.

He didn't and I received it broken. Stay clear of him.

14 negative in a year and you bought from him?  Not trying to be a buzz kill here, but you gotta check that stuff.  Ebay does an awful lot to try and protect sellers - feedback is one of them.  And really, what happened isn't Ebay's fault - it's the seller.  You could have protected yourself by doing just a little more homework.

Irregardless, I hope things work out for you.  Just remember, don't go cussing him out BEFORE you get your money back.  :)
