really illustrates how much narrower the new Challenger is. Why couldnt they widen it like the Viper? Up next to an original it looks less like a Challenger at least from the rear anyway.
obviously, it had to be somewhat modernized, and it's not much narrower. it just looks that way from the bigger rims, and it sits up higher
I have nothing. go ahead and laugh. but when I get my something, prepare to be awed

The over all dimentions of the new Chally are much bigger than the original!!!

Guess that will happen when you base it on the 300 platform.

I really like the new variety of Challenger, looks sweet to me. Now I'd still choose an old one (70-74) over the new just because, but that dosen't mean I dislike the new model  .  As far as overall size goes, the extra room as far as driver/passenger comfort is concerned has to be a welcomed +, I'm only 5'8" and around 200# and I really feel cramped behind the wheel, I've never attempted to get in the back seat to ride, personally the original models are most uncomfortable, but fun as hell to drive. I'll probably never get the opportunity to drive a new one though.

To exit a 70-74 Challenger\Barracuda from the back seat:

Assume the pose of a Ukrainian Dance Troupe male dancer by sticking your left leg straight out as you slowly move towards the doorway, unfolding as you do so (watch out for your coconut ;)) in one fluid motion. As you emerge be prepared to fall on the ground as your lower body cramps up :smilielol: Not to worry as your Mopar buds will be there to pick you up

If using right leg to lead, swing towards rear of vehicle as if you're a fireman getting on the 2nd floor pole to slide down. As you emerge, perform one pirouette ending with a bow, your arms out to balance yourself

Lower that new Chally about 2" and it'll look a lot better and more sleek.

I think the new Challengers look excellent, eventhough I like the 1st generation better.  I'm sort of glad they let the Cuda die, because I'd be afraid of what it would look like.   :scared:

I think my barracuda could out run it in both quarter mile and top end :bananasmi

You think?  Your Cuda must be pretty quick if it's faster than 13.1 ¼@108mph and can top out at 173mph.

Kudakidd (or anyone else) did you save the missing photos? I saved the 2 remaining images to my PC and would love the missing images as I think it's a good reference of E and LX cars together, plus they're white!  ;D
