how do you date code heads again?

I cant remember, I have 2 340 2.02 J heads with castings date of 0542 and 0532, is this 532 and 542 days after 1970?

Well I can`t find a reference right now , any chance it is the 54th day of 72
or is the year first so it is 70 , could be the 10,000 day calander too

I think i have seen this before, why doesnt it show the 2.02 3418915 non ta heads??? this is the second set i have had that are the 202 915 non ta heads
