Thanks, I'll check them out tomorrow.  I believe T/A and AAR use the same spring, correct?

I had a guy quote me locally to replace just the top leaf.  He would have it made and shipped and would run me $174 per side plus shipping (approx. $12) and reassembly (approx. $35), per side.  Total would be approx. $430 which is about what it sounds like I could get a new set for.  Do you know if Eaton supplies to Year One?  I can get them through them but they are a big more.

I wonder if Eaton would consider using my lower half leaf which has the part number stamped on it.

Yours look really rusty.  I changed my mind; maybe you better get a NEW set. Rusting and sandblasting thins out the springs a little.

Checked with Springs-'N-Things today.  They quoted only $240 for a set of AAR springs.  Seems like a great deal.

I guess that doesn't sound too low since the Mopar XHD springs are $95 a piece. Save your bottom spring and blast it to see if looks good enough to install on the new set.

Just a thought...

Springs-N-things(Espo) also sells the rear shackles and the big bolt for the front of the leaf spring if your's are too rusted to save. I totally boogered up my shackles trying to get them apart.   :pullinghair:

Actually, I did end up getting those and a set of U-bolts.  The price was right and I certainly did need them.  Now I just need to get the old eye bolts off the mounting bracket.  They're fused pretty solid.  Thanks for the tip, though.

That front bolt is tight.I cut the nut off with a cutoff wheel and was able to get a nut from my harware store to replace it.
