Whats with all the thefts lately? That makes like 4 Challengers, a '69 Charger R/T and a '68 Charger..all in like 3 months.

Not to doubt the integrity of fellow MOPAR owners, but with the poor economy it could be insurance fraud.  It's very common in some parts of the country for people to pay "kids" to steal their cars so they can collect the insurance.   :nono:  The question then becomes, where do these cars go.  I wouldn't think they would take a classic muscle car and put it in a river or a scrap yard; maybe a chop shop.

The culprits obviously knew which car would resell for more $$, considering they moved a '73 Challenger to get to the '71.  That is just sickening people can even think about stealing from others without any remorse. :'(

Someone stole my 70 Challenger. I sometimes have fantasies of staking them out over a fireant hill.  There are a lot of them were I live.

Same here, one of the first things that I thought was insurance fraud. It makes some sense. That or people are getting more desperate and theft is up.  :dunno:

I will have to keep that in mind when I get my car restored.  Will have to put it under lock and key for sure.  Nice of you helping out.  Gordon
