There is a big difference between letting someone drive your car with you sitting next them and handing your keys off to someone and wishing them well. I stand by my previous comment in that I would never give my keys off to anyone for them to do as they please. I would and have let others drive some of my vehicles with me there; specifically I let my son drive my 01 Viper.
As I have said elsewhere; you can do whatever you wish if your name is on the title; each to his/her own.
