Foose 'cuda.
« on: December 28, 2008 - 12:59:46 AM »
I haven't seen but a pic or two of this car and I didn't like it. After seeing alot more pics and video I can now say I apprecite it for what it is. On the custom show car side of things it is different and it is nice to see different in that field.
The customer wanted the color and Foose had to do what the customer wanted. I think he did geat on the cartoon decal.

Thanks for sharing.  I see what you are saying also.  I have built some cars for guys just because that is what they wanted.  I am going to build mine the way I want also.  might be my last one but I hope not.  Gordon

I'd rather not comment on the choice of color and hood design, but other than that it's very nice

There is no doubt he is talented and has a gift and there is also no doubt he is trying to be fresh and new in a hard to please market that likes it's "new imagines". I'd like to see him for once, stick with a simple colour choice and do more subtle touches. I'm not a fan of all chrome engines and billet steering wheels, seat hinges and knobs. To me, in my opinion, it just looks utterly cheap and nasty. Be good to see him do a nice custom car without the stripes or half tones. It's one thing standing out making a car look good, it's another making it stand out for the wrong reasons.

Get rid of those stripes and put a shaker on it and it would be a very nice ride.

I have to go against the grain and say I love it. I would like to see it outside, as he said it turns almost a burnt orange outside. The wheels are beautiful.
