anybody got pics of their GLHS at the track or in your dirveway even .  bb71challenger  (member)  mentioned these cars in another thread.  they were alot of fun and i havnt seen one in a long time.

Havent seen on of those in years! I remember back in the day one used to run around my side of town tearing up Vettes and 5.0s. I suspose it had to be built up a bit! :biggrin:

Here is a pic of my old GLHS. I bought it for my son, but once i got to drive it a few time, i canned that plan because he would have wrecked it within a week. It had some mods done to it, probably pushed around 220HP and was a wicked little car. Had some serious torque steer, once you got used to that it was a fun ride.

Used to beat Formula Firebirds and Iroc Z's on a regular basis back in '88-'89. The GLH Turbo cars are extremely quick off the line. Mine was an '87 Omni, I sure would like to get another one someday.

i know a gut who has an omni he bought new.had it repainted a few years back.last i heard he had it on blocks in his garage.
