My son is the king of bad breaks. This year, after lifting weights and going to football practice all summer, crashed his dirt bike one week before school started and broke the smaller bone in his lower leg. He missed the first 2 games then at the 5th game he was hit in the leg and cracked the bone again in the same place! The year BEFORE at the first day of 2 a day football practice he got knocked down and broke his thumb. He thought it was dislocated and had the trainer pull it straight and tape it up and went back out. He got knoocked down again and pushed it over to the side again. The trainer sent him to the hospital where we found out it was broken. The year BEFORE THAT in a wrestling match he was down 2 points when the other kid head butted him and broke his nose with 45 seconds left in the match! He had my wife (an RN) set it back and had the trainer plug it to stop the bleeding. He then grabbed a face mask from a team member and went back out to finish the match. He scored 5 points to win the match!

After the nose break I raised my insurance coverage! :eek4:

Oh, he's already found his place! He loves football, but at 5'7" he knows he has no chance of playing at the college level. Wrestling is another story though. He's been wrestling since he was 4 years old and is shooting for the state championship this year. He took 3rd last year, and has already beat a 3 time state champ this year. Right now at the midpoint of the season he's undefeated at 22-0, and is literally steamrolling whoever steps on the mat with him! :clapping:
