That's a cool ride.  It looks a lot like mine did.  Mine was a b5 blue (going to be purple) 70 318 car.  This is what it looked like when I was driving it every day:

Also, since you posted your vin and the cars look so similar, I thought I'd check my vin.  Pretty cool.  Mine was from LA also and it was only 673 vehicles after yours off the line.  I don't know what the production numbers were out of a plant, but it seems that might only be a week or so different.

Kinda cool.

Thats always a tough question Burpin chunks.....I'd say he'll say Charger, he's had it longer and it could well be his first Mopar muscle car.

MEKrunner, I bought this car from the original owner. He had it painted in 98'. The guy had been getting pretty old and couldn't drive it anymore and that's why he put it up for sale. I don't think it's been driven much in the last couple of years. He was pretty happy seeing it go to a fellow mopar lover.

Torredcuda, yep it's a column shift, don't think it ever had a center console. Would that show up on the fender tag if it did?

Burpin chunks, The charger is definately my favorite. Cudas/Challengers are a close second and then 67 GTX/Coronet R/T(maybe the next one to put in the stable ;D)My dad bought the Charger in 69' about 2 months after I was born. Sometime in the late 70's he put a hp440 from a wreck 70 Charger R/T in it and raced it alot back in the 80's. When he gave it to me around 1995 thats when I started to restore it. Man I'm glad he saved the orig. 383-4bbl motor. So now I have that 440 that I'm looking to put into something ;D

Welcome :D

Great looking car!  My '70 challenger that I owned many years ago was the same color w/ 318 and 3 spd on the floor.
