I'm baaaaaaaaack!!!
« on: January 06, 2009 - 08:14:01 AM »
Hey all,

Just wanted to give a 2009 shout-out to my friends.  I went home to PA for the Holidays on Tuesday, December 23rd, and haven't really been around since then.  I had a fantastic time at home - drove the Viper for two weeks, put on over a thousand miles, and did a lot of relaxing.  The weather was pretty cooperative and everything went well.  I installed my new "Gripper Shift Knob" from MGW ltd - I'll have pics of that up probably after this weekend when I can get her washed again.

I hope all of you had a great Holiday season.  Christmas is over but the spirit should always remain with us.  And may we all hope that 2009 sucks much less than 2008 did!!!  :)

Yeah I saw that.  Glad to know someone was thinkin' of me.  :)

It was something of a hassle this year - we had my wife's original desktop computer, we had her new laptop I bought her, we had my work laptop that I brought home to log some hours over the holidays, a desktop tower that my dad gave me, my Xbox 360, and her Nintendo Wii ALL vying for internet time!  Of course I just have a simple LAN with eternet cables running everywhere, and a 4-port router (which of courses uses one port from the cable modem.)  So we were CONSTANTLY unplugging and replugging cords to try to keep stuff connected and use what we wanted to use at that given time!  I'd often get something hooked up and start using it, only to have need to use it's port for something else...  I kept thinking, "I need to get on the Cuda board!!" and then just never got around to it.

I have a few pictures I HAVE to get uploaded - a few of my cats TOTALLY loving their new, 6' high "cat condo" (for April's sake.)  I have the new gearshift knob and wheel to photograph in the Viper.  I also made a "Viper Christmas Cookie" that I photographed with the Viper in the background - NEAT pic.

Welcome back, Jeff!  Hopefully you didn't have snow covered roads when you took your Viper out.  I cringed while driving my Stealth through the entire state of WI during one of the largest snow-ins I've ever experienced...The poor car had never seen snow/salt/excessive road debris since '91. :'(

Glad to see you posting... NOW POST YOUR PICTURES!
The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realize it doesn't say anything it's to late to stop reading it.

Glad you are back and glad you enjoyed your new toy and also had some time for the family, as you said we should keep the Christmas spirit going all year.   :woohoo:

The Viper saw snow BRIEFLY a couple weeks ago (stupid weather forecasters...)  I had some really bad ice-rain Christmas Eve, but I didn't drive in it.  That was about it.

Pics are coming - I promise.  :)
