1. How much work is involved? There is a fair amount of wiring involved due to the computer controlled fuel injection and some modification to the fuel system to accomodate the fuel injection.
2. Can I use the K-frame with special motor mounts? Yes there are motor mounts available as well as special headers. I believe that TTI exhaust carries both.
3. What type of wiring problems will I come across? There are harnesses and computers available that are tailored for this application now, but aren't cheap.
4. What kind of money am I looking at with wiring and motor mounts and any other misc stuff I can't think of right now to actually complete this? When I priced everything it was looking like the total was going to be around $11,000
5. What trans can be used with this engine? Any transmission that can be attached to the LA style small block will work (727, 518, 833, Tremec 5-speed, and T-56 but the T-56 requires floor modification)
6. Does this require alot of fab work? Like new trans mount, cutting the floor, firewall alteration? Not much fab work involved now a days with all of the parts being available.
7. Is this something best left to a professional shop or is it doable by the average guy? That is really up to you and your confidence level in the work you do.
