    This isn't mine but ours has about 20 balls and 1 strand of lights. This one is much prettier and you can see my family, which is the most important gift of all.
    This was in New Orleans yesterday when Emma got her pic with Santy Clause.

    Alright, I'm rather late, but I don't care....

    Besides, the tree is still up (didn't have time to take it down, wife won't do it alone) so it's still valid!

    Had to go artificial this year - kinda stunk, but just didn't feel like dealing with the hassles of a real tree when I was so far from home.



    Note the "present" on the far right, and it's corresponding ornament in the middle of the tree, about a-quarter of the way up from the bottom.

    I love Christmas too much - those lights you see around the top of the picture?  Yeah - they've been up since Christmas of 2006.  I leave 'em up year 'round.  I don't turn them on very often, but sometimes for a movie night or when I'm up until 4am...  they're just great mood lighting.  Plus things got hectic my last few days at home and I just didn't have time to take the tree down, put everything back in their boxes and put it all back in storage.  I'll do it this weekend.

    Ours is still up also. we are waiting for our son in law to get back from Iraq. He is due back in Fargo on Thursday as we know of now. It's not carved in granite though.
