Drop spindles
« on: January 31, 2009 - 06:19:27 PM »
I just read this post over at Moparts about new dropped spindles.
If they are what I think they are that will solve the big torsion bar problem.

they lower the car with the controlarms at regular height so yes it would solve some of the issues with the larger T bars

Thats awsome. Now since they are based off the 73 big bearing and big ball joint does that mean i would have to get the 73 and up brakes as well as the ball joints as my car is a 72? I wonder if i can see these up close since magnum force is right down the street to me.

the rotor will have to be the later / less expensive one , the brakes will depend which caliper adapter is used , pin or slider type

I haven't found a Canadian or U.S. made set for along time now.
I did get a set of Mexican rotors at the Nationals last summer. If you know of any U.S. or Canadian rotors let me know. 7038R is what is on the Raybestos box, made in China.
