70-74 Cuda Year One AAR hood for sale
« on: January 22, 2009 - 04:13:48 PM »
Bought this new from year one. This hood has the stronger structure to prevent bowing in the center like the factory hoods. I've had it on my car for a few years with very few miles and the car has always been garaged. It is in "as shipped" condition and has not been painted.
This hood will need some work if you want it to be perfect for paint. There are some issues with the fit and one crack between the 4 "vents" that can be corrected by someone good with fiberglass.

All the "issues" are in the pictures.

The only modifications done to the hood are two holes for the hood pins. The pins, clips and cables and trim plates/gaskets are included in the auction but NOT the adapter plates that bolt to the fenders.
The hood is located in Sacramento, CA.

I will not ship this hood. (too much of a hassle and I would want the buyer to be able to inspect it first)

Year One lists this hood for $775 and the Hood Pin kit for around $60

I'm looking for $400 or best offer.

Thanks!

I'm hoping someone will want it. I think the price is fair. If I change my mind and decide to ship, I'll let you know....

$350

Hoping there is some interest....if you live somewhere near here, we could meet halfway (within reason)

You sure you don't want to ship it?
I have a guy in Orange that can ship it with some other stuff coming to me, but I see it is not very close to you.
I think I can get it shipped under $150 via freight. I don't think the size limits are within Fed-Ex or UPS limits.
Tell me it wouldn't be the perfect addition to the barracuda!

Packaging is the big issue for me. I don't want it to get messed up any further being shipped again. Once it's boxed up it is quite huge and has to be sent truck freight. Orange is far away from where I am at.
