 :iagree:

But I bet there will be a lot more dealerships that go under.  I hope not but it sure seems that will be the way things go.
Got a pretty good start on my M46 optioned Barracuda restoration but now it is on hold till I can gather more funds.  Still need a few parts for it.  SIU Graduate 75 AAS Automotive Tech, 94 BS Advanced Tech Studies, 1997 MSED Workforce Education and Development

Here in the Metroplex (Dallas/Ft Worth) they hit the market at around 58,000. Halfway through last year I watched it go to 53, then 48, and now I have been seeing them for 42-43,000. Crazy, a 15,000 dollar difference. If I bought one at 58 and then saw them at 43 I would be pissed!

I hate to say this but the way things are looking this could be the end of Chrysler and the new Challengers could be worth big $$$$$$ some day .

Well, as much as I love old Mopars the only new ones I like are the Challengers. I can't stand Dodge pickups, and they really don't have any other cars I like. The new Chargers are OK, but I really only like the SRT models. Then again, I don't like most new cars.

Sad about the dealers.  :(

Hate to cash in on other's misfortunes but I guess that's where the deals are.  :dunno:
1972 Dodge Challenger Rallye 340, AT, Code TB3=Super Blue, SBD=8/17/1971.  Yes, a Rallye without the fender louvers from the factory because of the body side molding option.

Sad deal. I think Chrysler has a lot going for it. Ford has just brought their 300 clone to the market. They say that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. I like the 300 series, liked the Magnum, like the Charger but I love the new Challenger. I just hope they let it get off the runway before they shoot it down.

I think just about every major metropolitan area in America has had at least 1 major dealership shut their doors. There was a really big GM dealership family owned for about 70 years just shut their doors right near me. And a couple more I know of in the south bay where my folks live where I grew up. Empty dealership parking lots are really a sad sign of the times now.
