Found a new project!

Finally found a 72' Demon locally!  slant 6, 3-speed, manual steering, standard brakes.  Eventually its going to have either a 5.9L Magnum or a 5.7L Hemi, but for now I'm just trying to get it roadworthy.  The car is 99% complete and does run (on starting fluid, currently rebuilding carb)  The headlight bezels aren't on it but at kicking around my parts pile

I paid $2100 for the demon, and another EXTREMELY solid 73' duster with sunroof, the duster has no motor or trans but is otherwise a complete car.  The interior is all there (door panels are in the parts pile)  I pulled the seat out and threw out the vinyl floor mat and what was left of the jute padding(was SOAKED)  Found a partial build sheet underneath the mat!

On top of that you got a solid 73 Duster as part of the package if I'm reading it right??
And it came with a free pry bar

lol the prybar was my tool to get the master cylinder cover off, as far as the frame goes its in real good shape, the spring mounts in the rear are even solid.  I removed the seat, vinyl mat, and jute padding last night and found the buildsheet!  What was left of it anyway...1/3 of it is rotted away from water but the rest is very legible.

My buddy wants a Demon soooooooooooooooo bad he would kill to have that one. What are your plans for it. A big block or small?

Small block for sure, really shooting for a new 5.7L hemi swap but...It is more than likely going to end up a 5.9L magnum swap for money reasons.  I have big plans for the car, just need time...and money like most projects    I just got the carb back together, topped off fluids, and fired it up, runs like a dream.  Going to let it cool and pull a plug out to see whats going on inside.
