Removing Steering Column

I can get it out.. whats the trick....... its unbolted from underneath the dash and looks like some sort of pin going through where th pwoersteering box is..

You need a punch to get that pin out. It comes out either side of the knuckle. I used an old valve cover bolt and a BFH.

I just pull it out from the plastic retaining clip  :2thumbs:

I punched the pin out at the ps pump. What plastic clip are you talking about?

 It's sometimes easier to take the small roll pin from the leading edge out then pull the column with the guts from the coupler box.

  Ay, Mike, a BFH on the knuckle can cause broken bones you know.  :lol:
