I just got back from vacation and did 164 in my 2015 Challenger Scat Pack Shaker. Not bad for a 65 year old fart.

I finally learned to keep the speed on the track. I think.

I'll let someone better at math than me figure out the speed.

13.8 sec lap on a quarter mile dirt track in a winged sprint.

14.85 sec lap ona 1/2 mile dirt track.

201.85 miles an hour lap at Talladage in a 70 Petty built, Marty Robins owned Daytona. Now that was a Petty driving experience. Yeah, I was a scab who broke the stike lines that first year.

On the street about 160 in a baby blue 54 Ford with rusted out rocker panels. No, it was now where near stock. A 406 Ford out of a Mercury station wagon. Two fours and a four speed. The rear end was a two speed out of a Studebaker truck. It would run a hundred in low rear gear and then you shifted to high and down shifted to third. Basically it made a six speed out of the four. I sold the car to my cousin when I went in the Marines. He still owns it.

Cool stuff... What car did you drive in the '69 Talladega 500?

In the end, I didn't. The speeds are from my rookie runs in the #62 car. I can't remember the guy that was scheduled to drive it. He wasn't sure if he wanted to break the strike or not. After he saw my lap speeds i think he got worried about his job. I think the car made about 68 laps and blew the motor. As I remember, the car was owned by Brian Kesolowski. Not sure of the spelling. I think he was Brad's grandfather.

I really don't know b/c the 160 speedo was pegged.....near 180 - in a 2003 Mustang Cobra that I modified.

I‘ve gone with Audi RS Q8 with 600PS. It was great.

When I first installed the 543 stroker in my '74 Challenger, I got "challenged" by a '66 Mustang. I rolled the speedo and figured I was doing well over 130 and I barely had 500 miles on the new engine. About 620 hp at 651 ft/lbs of torque. I could barely see the Mustang in my rearview.

Hi guys!
Honestly 140 km/h (86 miles/hour) because that's the speed limit here. I am definitely a little wimp.
Anyway, my wife gave me a voucher for an afternoon at a racetrack.
Looking forward to that.
Have a great day!
