I am trying to remove a 68 cuda flip style fuel door.  What's up with these 3 weird bolts?  There has to be a special tool to remove them but I can't find one online.  Someone PLEASE help me get this chrome fuel door off so I can prep for paint.

Any help is great!!

They are anti-theft screws, they work well as you have discovered.  ;)

I usually just use an old screwdriver in one of the slots, tap with a hammer to get them started, then pliers to twist them out.

I could have sworn there was a special tool at a vender at a local mopar swap meet, although he wanted like $50 for it.  I figured I could find it cheaper online.  Do they make replacement bolts if I mess them up getting it off?? :stomp:
