not the fuel filler but what's the other tube for?

Just got my "baby" delivered yesterday ( 70 Challenger ) and was wondering about the tube in the trunk that is the same size as the fuel filler tube? What is this? I notice some cars have it ,some don't? Some sort of venting system?

its ECS - inside ere is a chrcola canister to hold fuel vapors and a line delivering them to the 3 nipple breather on the valve cover and then to the carb.

Ah thanks!! My car has a holley on it with a 440 transplant how do I hook this up? It looks like it hooks into the valve cover?

Note the third nipple on the breather that says "to tank vents";

From that nipple a rubber hose runs to the steel line on the passenger side inner fender.

Thanks! It doesn't go to carb or intake vacume then. Just in the breather? I don't have a stock  breather on it though?
