help with a part number

I found a set of disc brake rotors at the swap meet in columbus ohio. The guy said they were for 71 to 73 dodge. the part # he gave me is 4086356. can someone tell if they will work for a 71 challenger? Thanks Joe

They sure look thin and really super rusty to me.  I don't know the part number, but I sure wouldn't want them on my car stopping me behind a soccer mom dropping her cell phone on the floor

Hi moparal, The flash from the cam. made them look bad. The rust is just lite, some spots is clean metal. The guy told me they are new from mopar.  :ylsuper:

The parts search came up with this:

Recently, I was in the same situation. What I found out is in my situation (and likely the same for you) is that the casting no. and part no. will be different. There are few there that have the cross reference cast number to Chrysler p/n.

If you or anyone ever gets that list, I'd like to see it. What I did notice is that the Chrysler beginning number starting with either 2 will be earlier year p/n's. 3 will be 71 up part numbers. Not always true, but it did show a pattern.
