    904/727/518 Dipstick Tubes

    I am currently running a A904 in my car.  I will be installing an A518.  Will I need a new/different transmission dipstick/tube for my car, or can I use the 904 tube in the 518?

    What else is needed to change over to the 518...cooler lines, flexplate inspect cover, etc.

    727 filler tube will work,good used are getting hard to find (I don't have any) you can by new here if need be:http://bouchillonperformance.com/3300_01TransFillTubes.asp


    Dust cover is different from 904 to 727/518,cooler lines will have to be 3/8 size (yours is 5/16 now)

    Flex plate will be the same

    You know about the mount /driveshaft stuff. :cheers:
