Air cleaner spacer
« on: February 19, 2009 - 10:58:30 AM »
Let me first start by saying how much I hate losing a whole post b/c I can't upload a certain picture.
:pullinghair:
Or how about, You've already submitted that post.
 :bricks1:

I need to raise my open element air cleaner to clear a fuel line. could I just stack a few gaskets, or does anyone have a spacer laying around? I see Summit has them. they're so cheap, maybe I'll just buy from them.

Hey Wally,  A little trick we do is to buy the right size plumber down pipe from a plumber supply or hardware store.  And cut it to the desired height needed as a spacer, would be easy to cut with a hacksaw.   Just a suggestion buddy. :2thumbs:
