Goodmark Shocks
« on: March 19, 2009 - 12:16:13 AM »
Looking for shocks for what will primarily be a roadcar, not a strip car, so need the cornering ability to be the best with what suspension setup I have (larger T-Bars, Poly bushings, front/rear sway bars, a lot of the engine in aluminum). I see Goodmark have some shocks now. Does anyone know where they come from, any test reports that are available. Anyone used them. Right now the best bang for the buck looks to be the Edelbrocks - same questions if anyone knows. Otherwise I will risk divorce and go with QA-1s. They are expensive @ around $200CDN per corner. A lot of the shocks are for drag racing so don't want anything that is soft on compression.

I wouldn't mess with some goodmark rebadged stuff. Goodmark doesn't make shocks. They may be good, but I haven't seen any reports on users of them, so I wouldn't bother being the guinea pig.

Look at the Bilstiens and Koni's at www.firmfeel.com Otherwise edelbrock or QA-1's.
