Intake gasket P4286826
« on: March 16, 2009 - 01:46:08 PM »
I just got the mopar (felpro stamped 9546) intake gasket P4286826 set with the 2 croosover plates.  Do the plates go on the head side or the intake side?  Do I have to use some type of sealer?  Also won't those thin SS plates keep the manifold from sealing?

the plate can be placed either side of the gasket , I use ultra blck rtv sealer & no the plates will crush into the gasket & not pervent sealing

I think I'm better off with the Felpro 1215.  I can use this valley pan as is, meaning I don't need the supplied extra gaskets?

1215 is the easy way to do it , you can use it with no paper gaskets or 1 on each side below the pan
