I had a chance to check out the latest episode on the repeat Sunday. Pretty sad what happened to the Dart.  I hope they can get it back together in time but someone mentioned a shock tower was bent = not good

Did anyone notice the cracked bondo on top of the roof?  Maybe not the nice car we thought it was..

So?  It's a race car.

 :roflsmiley:
What are you talkin about  :clueless:
I responded to what BIGS said about those at moparts.
Please tell me where you were even mentioned?

Don't think everything I write is about you.
Sorry to disappoint you, but your really not that special in my eyes.
I tried to clear it up with you in this thread.......no response

I tried to pm you to clear it up.....with no response also.
I'm over it and moved on, but I really suggest you take a look at my posts again, and come to the realization that I am talking about the subject at hand.......and not you    :smilielol:
If you want to keep arguing fine.......  :grinno:
If you want to call a truce and move on fine........ :grinyes:
Your call
I've already tried, and this will be all for me.
I've wasted enough of my time.
Please reread all of my posts, and your posts, and tell me who was out of line.

Jeff,  Didn't you post a pic today of your own roof that had alot of bondo on it but now your gonna fix it? Those guys just opened up a can to fix the roof on the Dart

Your not making any sense.  That car (like yours) has a roof made of bondo chipping off like slag but no one is supposed to mention it?

And for the record that is called a "dutchman panel"
That is not a roof  :poopoke:
And I'm not making sense  :roflsmiley:

It is no show poodle but I don`t hink it was meant to be.Looks like it does pretty well against a lot more modern and exotic machines. There is a thread on Moparts and the kid from Team Dart has posted about it.
http://board.moparts.org/ubbthreads/showflat.php?Cat=0&Board=Test&Number=5073676&page=0&fpart=1

Post from team dart on moparts:

Geese Caveman, you seem to just hate and hate and hate... Tell me exactly what is your beef? We're actors? The show is all fake? Man I wish I was an actor, I'd be getting paid alot more than dealing with wrecked cars every day for little pay! I just don't get what exactly we did that you decided to be on the offensive all the time? On multiple boards now you talked [Edited by Moparts - Keep it clean], how we're not racers, a motor like ours doesn't make power and isn't reliable.... bla bla bla. No it's not the fastest car, no it's not the most reliable. We're not made of money, we built a car to have fun with, on a budget, and that's what we did, then later we were accepted for Bullrun.

Anyways, yea the Dart rolled.... it wasn't planned, it wasn't staged, and it ALSO wasn't a "victory" donut...

Ok so here's the scoop. Yea my pop's made a HUGE mistake... and he still feels bad about it, you guys should have seen him at the time. And he didn't go run the Challenge again immediately after we finished, we hung out for a minute, and then the Production crew had told him to go run it again, just for some better camera angles, etc. He did it again, and comming back he got a little too sideways, over corrected, and then hit a concrete curb that started at about 3" and slightly got higher to about 36"... so he pretty much went spanky spangler style.

It sucks, but mistakes are made. He owns it still.... But that's also why we brought a Dart to the show.... (no offense) Dart's can be replaced, very cheap at that.

And as for the Evo being faster, there's that magical editing factor again. Getting out of the car, running, getting back in, and strapping the helmets on is ALL included in the time. Honestly I really don't doubt the Evo was a faster car in the Challenge... but you guys should have seen how LOOOONNNG it took them to get their helmets on, and buckled up. They weren't really familiar with helmets in the first place, so they fumbled a bit. We had a plan with the helmets, since we knew we were outnumbered on this course, we had already strapped the helmets before starting, all the way loose.... so when it came down to getting them on, it was "throw the helmet on, zip it, buckle up, go". Technically (this wasn't on the show) we went faster than the Avalanche did.... more than likely just because of the helmets I think. But we were then given a time penalty for leaving too soon.... they have a safety check when you get your helmets on, and once you're cleared, you have a guy counting to three and THEN you take off... we left a little early and they docked us 3 seconds.

But hey man, that's how it goes. Mistakes are made, no one to blame other than ourselves :-/

 :villagers:
Man it sucks they were doing some tv shots and crashed   :swear: I wonder if mister mopar goldburg helped fix the dart. :smilielol: ya right...

I taped one episode  to watch later. As I was viewing it there was a logo on the screen in the bottom left corner and then a real quick flash of a car ---like it was jumping off the screen. It looked a bit familiar so I went back and paused it and it was a gold 71 cuda with a wing that flashed across the screen.  Any one else see this. Don't remember what they were advertising and I erased the recordings.
