I have bought 2 vehicles on e-bay so far. All I can say is DON'T use DAS shipping!

I've bought one and sold two. No troubles to date. Depends on the car and the buyers it is going to attract.

Sold over 50 cars on Ebay and never had any serious problems. I would only accept a wire transfer or a U.S. cahier's check for payment, unless they show up and pay in cash. Don't send the paperwork or let the car leave without getting paid 100% up front. If it is an overseas buyer, keep the title until they pick up the car. The Chrysler that I sold back in October is still sitting in my driveway. The guy paid for it right away, but nobody has showed up to get it. So I am holding on to the paperwork for now.

Take a ton of pictures from every possible angle when you drop off the car to the shippers or right before they pick up. Don't forget the interior, underhood, and chassis. You never know where they are going to tie down a car at and I have seen plenty of control arms and sway bar mounts bent. As far as paying bank transfer or money orders are the best. Typically I require a deposit, then I send the title, receive the balance of the money, then let the car go. Ebay also has plenty of escrow accounts that sound like they would work well, though I have never tried one. Depending on expectations on one side and the description on the other you never know what someone is expecting to get. Good luck.

Take lots of pictures! DAS did some damage when I shipped my Challenger. Big dent in the front valance broke the driveshaft and tranny. Judging by the rear quarters          ( rubber chunks) I'd say they did a few burnouts somewhere along the way!
COVER YOUR BUTT ---TAKE LOTS OF PICTURES
